Today, professors of the Faculty of Philology, LinditaTahiri, Muhamet Hamiti, Sazana Çapriqi and Vjosa Hamiti, gave lectures in The Department of Comparative Literature at Dartmouth College on these topics: “Does the 'Western Balkans' Amend the Negative Images of 'Balkans?”(L. Tahiri), “Kosovo: Political and Cultural Discourses of Statehood and Nationhood” (M. Hamiti), “Gender Dimension of Balkan Identity” (S. Çapriqi) and “Ideology in the History Textbooks of Kosovo” (V. Professors and students of Dartmouth, who were interested in the cultural development of Kosovo as a new born country, were also present in this activity.

Pro-rector Lindita Tahiri held a meeting with the pro-rector of Dartmouth, Denise L. Anthony, with whom she discussed possibilities of a long lasting partnership in the fields of social sciences. Dartmouth already has partnership with Kosovo in the field of medicine and it is beneficial to both sides if this cooperation expands in other fields as well, said Tahiri and Anthony.
